Coach Joshua Esposito
2026 13U | Head Coach
Joshua Esposito leads the NEA Wildcats 13U team with nearly a decade of coaching experience and a strong commitment to youth development. A former multi-sport athlete at Averill Park High School in New York, Josh played baseball, football, and basketball.
Since 2016, Josh has been a dedicated presence in the Windham, NH community. He served as an assistant coach for the NEA Wildcats 11U team during the 2023–2024 season and as Head Coach of the 12U team. In addition, he has coached Windham’s district all-star baseball teams at the 8U through 12U levels (2021–2025) and has led teams in Windham’s rec baseball program since 2019. Beyond the diamond, Josh also coached flag football from 2022–2025 and previously served as an assistant tackle football coach with the South Troy, NY Trojan Warriors for three years.
Josh holds multiple certifications, including USA Baseball Levels A, B, and C (2023), Babe Ruth League coaching certification (2021–2024), and CPR/AED certification (2023–2025).
His coaching philosophy is centered on building a team-first environment where players support each other, develop both individually and collectively, and—most importantly—have fun. He believes in player-led growth, using observation and communication to identify each athlete’s strengths and goals. Through repetition, positivity, and honest feedback, Josh helps his players grow with confidence and self-awareness.
Some of his favorite coaching moments include helping players reach their goals, watching team bonds form, and celebrating big and small milestones alike. He often reminds his athletes to focus on the little things, play for one another, and stay positive—even when mistakes happen.
Outside of baseball, Josh is proud of his roots in a large, close-knit family—his grandfather had 18 siblings. That sense of unity and teamwork is something he brings to every team he coaches.
