Coach KC Achilles
Assistant Coach
KC Achilles joins the NEA Wildcats coaching staff for his first season, bringing recent playing experience and a passion for player development. A Vermont native who relocated to New Hampshire in 2015, KC played baseball at Timberlane Regional High School (2021–2023) and with Northeast Baseball (2021–2022). He currently serves as an assistant coach at Timberlane for the 2024–2025 season, where he helped the program clinch its first playoff berth in seven years—one of his proudest coaching moments.
KC’s coaching philosophy is rooted in steady progress: “1% better every day.” He believes that baseball, with all its ups and downs, is about the long game—making small, consistent improvements over time and learning how to handle failure with resilience and purpose.
What excites KC most about coaching is the opportunity to impact young athletes beyond the field. He understands that character is built not just in clutch plays, but in quiet moments—whether it’s in the dugout, on long bus rides, or during team downtime. For KC, developing leaders and strong teammates is just as important as developing ballplayers.
Off the field, KC enjoys anything sports-related—playing, watching, researching—and values quality time with family and friends.
