Coach Paul Brooks
assistant coach | 2026 12U American
Paul Brooks joins the NEA Wildcats 12U American staff for his first season, bringing a strong foundation in youth sports and a player-centered coaching approach. Paul played baseball through the Babe Ruth level in Massachusetts and has spent the past four years coaching baseball in Londonderry at various levels, beginning at 8U. In addition to baseball, he continues to coach multiple youth sports, giving him a well-rounded perspective on athlete development.
Paul is Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball coaching certified and believes that learning happens at every level—for players and coaches alike. His philosophy emphasizes preparation, effort, and bringing your best self to every practice and game to support long-term development. He values organized practices with clear plans, hands-on instruction, and plenty of opportunities for players to apply new skills. Each session ends with a team huddle to review accomplishments and identify next steps.
For Paul, strong teams are built through clear goals, shared accountability, and open communication. His favorite part of coaching is seeing how much each player grows over the course of a season—and finishing the year knowing every athlete enjoyed the experience.
Outside of baseball, Paul works as a program manager and can often be found on multiple fields coaching and supporting young athletes.
