Coach Sean Cregg
Head Coach | 10U
Sean Cregg steps into his first season as Head Coach of the NEA Wildcats 10U team with a deep commitment to player development and a strong background both on the field and in leadership. A former two-sport collegiate athlete at Thomas College, Sean played three years of baseball as a pitcher and third baseman while also competing on the golf team.
Sean has been coaching youth baseball since 2017, including recent leadership roles as Head Coach for the 10U All-Stars (2023), 11U All-Stars (2024), and Assistant Coach for the 9U Jr. Lancers (2025). His coaching philosophy centers on helping players grow as both athletes and individuals. He emphasizes setting personal and team goals, working hard in practice, and most importantly—having fun on the field.
Sean reminds players (and parents) that mistakes are part of the game. “Don’t get frustrated—this is baseball. Work hard, stay positive, and enjoy the game.”
Away from the field, Sean works as a carpenter and enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his wife and four children. His favorite coaching memories are watching his players smile and improve—proof that they’re learning, competing, and loving the game.
