Jay Yennaco

Jay Yennaco is the Owner and Head Coach of the NEA Wildcats14U Elite, bringing a wealth of professional baseball experience and a deep commitment to youth development. A native of Windham, New Hampshire, Jay's baseball journey began at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, where he earned national recognition as the 1993–94 Gatorade New Hampshire Baseball Player of the Year.
Drafted in the third round of the 1995 MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox, Jay embarked on a professional career that spanned nearly a decade. He advanced through the Red Sox minor league system, reaching Triple-A with the Pawtucket Red Sox, and later joined the Chicago Cubs organization, where he was added to their Major League roster in 2000 . Jay also contributed as a pitching coach for the Nashua Pride, an independent AAA team, in 2006.
In 2008, Jay and his brother Bruce Yennaco co-founded the Northeast Wildcats, now known as NEA Wildcats, with the mission of developing elite athletes and fostering strong character. Under Jay's leadership, the program has grown into a premier baseball organization in New England, emphasizing advanced skill development, strength and conditioning, and leadership training.
Jay resides in Windham with his wife, Nicki, who manages the organization's financial operations, and their children, Cole, Emma, and Brody. Cole plays a pivotal role in the Wildcats' strength and conditioning program, continuing the family's dedication to athletic excellence.
Jay's extensive experience and passion for the game make him a cornerstone of the NEA Wildcats' commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
